Alphonso Davies will be out of court indefinitely. After overcoming COVID, the Canadian winger was detected heart problems so he will be on long-term leave for the Bayern Munich.
Julian Nagelsmann, coach of the Bavarian team, confirmed that Davies has inflammation in the myocardium.

“In the test that we do to every player who passes by an infection of COVID we detected aa slight inflammation of the myocardium. It will not be available for the next few weeks, because the inflammation has to heal completely”, said Nagelsmann , during the press conference prior to this Saturday’s game against Colonia.
In this sense, he clarified that this heart disease is not serious : “Myocarditis is not dramatic; but he has it, and it sucks. We won’t be able to count on him for a long time. It has to be cured”.
It is unknown if Davie’s myocarditiss is a consequence of the virus. The winger, aged 50 years old, was among the many casualties of Bayern by COVID for the last duel against Borussia Mönchengladbach.

“In a goalkeeper the physical demand is different than in a field player. We hope that he does not constantly receive shots on goal and does not have to make 50 stops”, explained Nagelsmann about the Neuer case.
Kingsley Coman, for his part, will continue to be absent due to a muscle injury prior to his COVID infection.
