The Venezuelan Professional Baseball League is in immense tension, due to the fight for a place in the final between Navegantes del Magallanes, Cardenales de Lara and Caribes de Anzoátegui. However, Ronald Acuña Jr. captured all the attention of the fans, after the same player stated his desire to play in the country with Cardenales de Lara, being the current player of Tiburones de La Guaira.
The impact was so great that, Oswaldo “Ozzie” Guillén, a recognized manager in the Major Leagues with the Chicago White Sox, Miami Marlins and La Guaira Sharks, sent a message to the same player where he stressed that he had nothing to do with the inconvenience between the outfielder and the school leadership.
“At 2016 they said that I was not a player of the days”, wrote the stellar major leaguer of the Atlanta Braves on his Instagram account.
That is why the same Ozzie did not hesitate to give his point of view on the subject and thus avoid being singled out for the statements of Acuña Jr. highlighting that the first Latin American coach to win a Major League World Series, was in charge of the squads for several years since 2016.
In this way, the future of Acuña Jr. in Creole ball is still up in the air, due to his star status in Atlanta, it is not unreasonable to think that twilight management would move their tools to make e with the services of the one born in La Guaira. Not forgetting that they have enough economic power and countless players to put together a good trade package.
