The creative Juan Fernando Quintero announced this Friday that after playing a friendly match against the Honduran team on Sunday with the Colombian national team, he intends return to the ranks of River Plate, an Argentine club with which he won several international titles.
“Let people know that, surely in the next few hours, we will close everything to return to River Plate”, the skillful player of 28 years old told the press.
Quintero left the Millionaire Club of Buenos Aires in 2020 to reinforce Chinese Shenzhen, from which he has parted ways to rejoin coach Marcelo Gallardo’s team.
In a press conference ahead of the game with Honduras in the The American city of Fort Lauderdale, Quintero said that in recent days he had received offers from teams from Brazil and Turkey, but that he opted for new for River.
“It’s my team, it’s my preference”, said the hitch, who explained that Flamengo and Galatasaray were also interested.
