An angry customer ripped several wedding dresses in a wedding hall in China by cutting them with scissors, all this after an argument with store employees over a deposit of $700 dollars.
The client, an unidentified woman from Chongqing, a city in southwestern China, was filmed going through shelves of wedding dresses with a pair of scissors in hand.
According to Yahoo, the incident occurred at a bridal shop in Chongqing’s Jiangjin district on January 9. The woman destroyed 32 wedding dresses valued at $11,10 dollars.
The dispute started after the store refused to return the deposit of $550 dollars from the woman for a wedding package that she abruptly canceled. The package had a value of $1,250 and I had reserved it for October 2021.
In the video you can see the client cutting white wedding dresses and traditional Chinese wedding dresses. In the video, the person filming her informs the woman that each dress costs thousands and even tens of thousands of Chinese yuan.
“Think clearly. These dresses cost several thousand yuan”, the person filming is heard saying.
“Thousands? Even if it’s several tens of thousands, that’s fine. Call the police”, replies the woman, continuing to cut the dresses with the scissors.
While cutting a luxurious red and gold traditional Chinese wedding dress, the person recording the video tells the woman that this dress is worth 10,000 Chinese yuan, which is equivalent to about $1,500 dollars.
The woman then responds by saying that she would be fine if she was worth it 100,000 Chinese yuan, or $100,000 dollars.
