U.S. Border Patrol agents arrested a subject with an extensive police record near the Jacumba Wilderness region, two miles north of the border with Mexico.

The Customs and Border Protection (CBP) reported this Friday that agents assigned to the El Centro station found an undocumented immigrant who entered the United States illegally this Thursday night.

The subject was arrested and transported to the El Centro Sector Processing Center to be medically evaluated and processed, as detailed by CBP in a statement.

Verifications conducted by border authorities revealed that this individual was a documented Paisa gang member with an extensive criminal and immigration history.

A judge Immigration would have previously ordered that this subject be expelled from the US for various crimes.

“This individual has Numerous felony and misdemeanor convictions including multiple readmissions after deportation,” the institution explained.

The Patrol US Border Agency stated that it will prosecute this person as a result of his crimes.
