The governor of the state of Texas, Greg Abbott, announced that all the hostages who were kidnapped this Saturday in a local synagogue are out of danger.
“Answered prayers. All the hostages are alive and safe”, wrote the Republican governor through his Twitter account.
A tense situation was experienced this Saturday in the city of Colleyville, after a person held captive four hostages, a situation that made the FBI and a SWAT team intervene to support the local authorities.
Abbott’s tweet came moments after a loud bang was heard, which appeared to be gunshots coming from the Beth Israel congregation; however, no further details of the ransom have been released at this time, and it is not known exactly if the hijacker is dead or alive, Click2Houston reported.
