The negative streak experienced by the actress Lori Loughlin and her husband, the designer Mossimo Giannulli, seems to have no end.
The Hollywood couple, implicated in the bribery scandal at American universities to ensure the entrance of their daughters, now suffered the theft of jewelry valued at one million dollars, according to TMZ.
According to the portal, a group of masked men dressed in black entered his home in Los Angeles on January 3. They broke the bedroom window and stole the jewelry box of the actress from Full House: Tres Por Tres. The couple was not at home at the time of the robbery, which was reported to the authorities by an employee.
The police denied the possibility that it was a crime specifically directed towards the artist, of 57 years old, and his family, and attributed it to a group of South American thieves, who recurrently travel to the United States to rob properties and then leave the country.
After the events, Loughlin was grateful that there were no injuries from the event and decided to reinforce security on his property.
The couple has remained in the eye of the storm after 2020 they pleaded guilty having paid $500,000 dollars in bribes to get their daughters, Isabella and Olivia, admitted to the University of Southern California, a crime for which they were sentenced to spend months in prison and to pay fines.
