Different authorities of the Government of Serbia demonstrated this Sunday after Australia resolved in a trial the deportation and the cancellation of the tennis player’s visa Novak Djokovic.
The first to express his solidarity with Djokovic was Sports Minister Vanja Udovicic, who described Australia’s performance in the case as “shameful”, in addition to highlighting what was achieved by the racket to throughout history.
“Winner of 20 Grand Slam titles, the best in the world, someone who writes the history of sport on the planet, that is and will always be Novak Djokovic. Everything else is nonsense and shame, absurdity and hypocrisy. Legend, pride of Serbia, we are with you!”, he declared.
For her part, the Prime Minister of Serbia, Ana Brnabic, He also spoke about the situation and cited the “rule of law” as Djokovic was treated during his stay in Australia.
“The decision on the expulsion of Novak Djokovic is scandalous and has shown how in some countries the rule of law works, that is, does not work“, said the Serbian Prime Minister, Ana Brnabic.
“I hope to see Novak in Serbia so that we can overcome this together somehow and support him in these moments difficult“, added Brnabic.
Meanwhile, the Serbian Federation of tennis assured that the trial of Djokovic in Australia was a “farce” and a “victory of politics over sport”, which raises many questions.

Another entity that expressed their disagreement with the process was the Serbian Olympic Committee, who also expressed their disappointment and regret that a “political decision” was made regarding the porte.
“The treatment that Novak Djokovic had throughout his stay in Australia has been absolutely inadmissible “, the committee pointed out and stressed that the bad intentions against the best tennis player were evident from the beginning.
