Because it is said that grandparents are one of the greatest treasures that life can give us and those who have the happiness of growing up with them and enjoying them for many years are extremely lucky.

And it is that, generally, grandparents not only take care of us, but also fill us with love and affection; they are also capable of taking the bread out of their mouths in order not to see their grandchildren suffer.

For this and other reasons, Facebook users have been moved by the story of an original grandfather from the municipality of Guadalupe, in the Mexican state of Nuevo León, whose story was shared on this social network.

A user named Héctor Villanueva was circulating through the streets of this municipality when he suddenly ran into an old man who was selling drawings of the Virgin of Guadalupe in the streets. Villanueva approached his grandfather, called Amado, who was crying inconsolably because that day he had not been able to sell any of the drawings that he himself makes by hand in order to buy milk for his grandchildren.

Héctor was moved so much with the story of this grandfather that without thinking he gave him 100 pesos (about $5 dollars) so that he could buy what he needed at his family’s house.

“He sold the drawing of the little virgin for $ and I said $100 and she started crying because she felt happy and told me that I was an angel”, the publication reads.

The post quickly went viral , receiving hundreds of comments from other people who live in that town and who wanted to help Don Amado.

Finally, the story had a happy ending as Villanueva shared a video of his grandfather on his way home , led I carry a red bag full of milk and other things for her grandchildren.
