The world’s largest black diamond, from space, will be auctioned in Los Angeles, California, and London, England, next month at a price of about $6.8 million dollars.

“The enigma”, as it was baptized, would have been formed as a result of the impact of a meteorite more than 2,600 million years ago or from an asteroid that hit the Earth, according to Sophie Stevens, from Sotheby’s auction house.

The precious stone was exhibited for the first time this Monday in Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates.
