Jason Urbaniak was accused of stealing two police vehicles in a matter of hours in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

Urbaniak, aged 40, is facing charges after authorities said he rammed a stolen police van into two police cars, hours after he was caught trying to steal another police van.

According to the Atlantic City Police Department, Urbaniak was caught trying to break into a parked police van on Atlantic Avenue Sunday night. The suspect admitted to officers that he tried to steal the truck and was taken into custody and charged with attempted robbery, police said.

Urbaniak was released hours later and immediately stole an Atlantic City Police Department prisoner van that was parked outside the station, reported Fox News.

When officers found the truck on the block 40 of North Iowa Avenue, Urbaniak sped backwards into two police cars. The collision caused minor injuries to officer Consuelo Maldonado.

Urbaniak was arrested for the second time and charged with various crimes, including aggravated assault on the police and theft of a motor vehicle.
