A teacher in Georgia was arrested last Friday for allegedly planting cameras in an elementary school bathroom to watch children urinate.

Justin C. Julián, of 37 years, taught at Blackwell Elementary School until he was arrested on charges of engaging in suspected illegal activity in the Cobb County School District.

C. Julián faces three charges of espionage surveillance and one of first-degree cruelty to children, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported.

The authorities allege that the teacher observed an 8-year-old girl and two others 10 while they used the urinal. One of the minors 10 years old noticed the device, became distressed and alerted another teacher.

The school authorities reported the case to the Police as soon as they learned of the facts, assured a spokesman for the district.

The accused is being held in the Cobb County Jail, where a bond of $15,000.

“ Allegations against a school employee are abhorrent, totally unacceptable, and violate the employee code of conduct. The employee was arrested, and all applicable laws and district policies will be enforced in every way possible,” the District stated.

The suspect was removed from duty on the school campus.
