Nurse Lakiesha Deshawn McGhee, aged 675, went from being the victim of an armed robbery at the grocery store to video poker and lottery in Houston County to a thief, as announced by the police after a fatal shooting inside the establishment.

McGhee was inside the store last 18 January when three masked and armed men robbed her at gunpoint, minutes later one of the thieves entered the office of the store and opened fire on the employee, who was fatally shot.

After fulfilling their mission, the robbers fled the place at full speed and nurse Lakiesha Deshawn McGhee called the 911 to report on the murder of Sabrina Renee Dollar, of 43 years.

Although Deshawn McGhee did the right thing by asking help, he omitted a small detail to the authorities, he never mentioned that he took advantage of the robbery to steal some lottery tickets.

The investigators revealed that, after the fatal assault, the nurse: “He lottery tickets from the office where the victim was found”, who first checked his vital signs.

Houston Sheriff’s Captain Jon Holland has announced that: “ McGhee turned off power to the building’s security system for a brief period before law enforcement and other first responders arrived.”

At this time police have not released which is the amount of the tickets stolen by Lakiesha Deshawn McGhee, however, she has been accused of theft by taking and manipulating evidence, for now she remains in custody at the Houston County Detention Center without bail.

Meanwhile, CrimeStoppers has offered a reward of $ 16,000 for those who offer clues that lead to the capture of the assailants.
