are-you-vaccinated-now?-djokovic-would-make-decisions-after-rafa-nadal's-21st-grand-slam

The first Grand Slam of the season ended at the Australian Open and Rafael Nadal entered history by becoming the first male tennis player to win 21 open. Novak Djokovic had problems for not complying with health regulations and could not compete in Melbourne.

The Serbian is an ‘anti-vaccine’ and has always expressed himself against fighting the Covid virus-19 in the traditional way and this is taking its toll on him in the big tournaments. However, now he would have thought about getting vaccinated to fight Nadal in the big tennis tournaments.

“From what I have heard from those around him, I think he is getting vaccinated. Maybe he contributed to the final in Australia. It may be that Rafa Nadal’s 21 Grand Slams are pushing him to do that”, this was confirmed by Daniel Müksch, biographer of Novak, to the Austrian medium Heute.

‘Nole’ was left with 20 open, tied with Roger Federer in the second place. He has not officially competed since December 3, 2021 in Davis Cup doubles, in Madrid against Croatia.

In case of getting vaccinated, he would be available to play the two Master 1 tournaments in Indian Wells and Miami.
