Jeremy Main, who is facing trial for murdering his 17 month old baby girl in Florida, would have told the mother, after committing the acts, that would have a bad day.
In October of 2017, police found little Makenzie drowned in the bathtub of the Main residence, located in the Lake County.
Officers discovered the girl after her mother Holly Farrington called the system 911 to indicate that Main admitted to murdering the minor.
Farrington was working in Ocala when the man called her to confess to the crime.
“You are going to have a bad day,” the defendant told Farrington, as reported by the Daily Commercial.
“The He went on to tell me how he tried to commit suicide. You know, he tried to kill himself like his father did and that he tried to cut his wrists, but he didn’t succeed, “said the woman in Court.
The agents who came to the scene spotted the little girl, floating face down in the bathtub and still had a diaper on.
After the homicide, the man He drove to the police station in Sumter County, where he also confessed to the facts.
“I killed my daughter and I couldn’t commit suicide”, the suspect would have expressed.
Subsequently, the man told investigators that he had ruined his life and committed a serious mistake.
The authorities believe that the man killed his daughter to punish or take revenge on Farrington for having initiated a divorce proceeding. The couple had married in July of 2015.
