Although today she has a fruitful career on television, which has earned her international recognition, Ana Patricia Gámez does not forget her origins and shares with all her followers how it was that as a teenager she won the first money of her life in a small family business.
In the most recent episode of her podcast “Sin Filter”, the host recalled when, at the end of one of her school periods in her native Navojoa, Sonora , took advantage of the holidays to go with an aunt to a canvas and cloth store.
«During the summer vacation of the year 2000, which lasted two months, my aunt Rosa told me that if I wanted to work with her in a scraps of cloth and, of course, I answered in the affirmative. I remember that they paid me 250 pesos a week and my job was to fold fabric, but I went much further and began to accommodate them by type or by color. I think that’s where my love for sewing was born from,” said Ana Patricia.
Finally, the presenter pointed out that although this was her first formal job, she had been busy practically since she was a child, because he helped his parents with the grocery store they had or he went to his grandfather’s tailor shop and started sweeping the floor and picking up all the leftover thread waste.
