A couple of days after the tragic death of Cheslie Kryst, the former Miss United States in 2019, the New York City Medical Examiner’s Office has already confirmed the official cause of death.

Kryst was found dead last Sunday, 30 January, at seven in the morning in the Orion building on 42, a luxurious 60-story skyscraper in midtown Manhattan, near Times Square, where she resided on the ninth floor.

According to People magazine, the results of the autopsy performed on the model on Monday revealed that Cheslie committed suicide and suffered multiple blunt force injuries.

I only had 30 years, she was a lawyer, a driver, so she was going through the best moment of her career, something that her followers, family and friends were clear about, which is why they still do not understand the reason for the decision not to continue with her life.

“It is with devastation and great pain that we share the passing of our beloved Cheslie. It was her great light that inspired others around the world with her beauty and strength. She cared, loved, laughed and shone”, was how Kryst’s relatives announced her death.

Hours before her death, Cheslie posted a photo of herself on Instagram with the message: “May this day bring you rest and peace”, which was interpreted as parting words by Internet users.

Some Theories also arose around her after the act she committed, as it is said that she was very afraid of growing old due to the goals and projects she had planned.

In March 2021, she wrote a text for the site Allure titled “A pageant queen reflects on fulfilling 30 years”, in which he was honest about his fears of reaching this stage in his life.

“Society has never been kind to those who age, especially women. (Occasional exceptions are made for some of the rich and some of the famous),” she mentioned. Cheslie was talking about how overwhelming it was to be 30 years old, the age she reached on 28 April 2021 and that gave him a new perspective on life. Nothing positive despite the achievements she had.
