An example of this is that the Lakers player was nominated in three categories for the Golden Raspberry Awards, also known as Razzie, where the worst of the film industry in the United States is awarded.
The King is the protagonist of the film Space Jam: A New Leaguecy, although his staging did not meet critics’ standards. In fact, he’s nominated for Worst Actor, Worst Picture and Worst Screen Couple for the number 42 edition of the Razzie. This film is also nominated for Worst Prequel, Remake, Copy or Sequel.
The film starring LeBron James is in the Top 5 with the most nominations. The list is led by Diana the Musical, with nine nominations. Karen and The Woman in the Window feature five, while Infinite is in fifth place with three categories. This year also introduced the special category Worst Performance by Bruce Willis.
The first part of Space Jam (1996), a film that mixed animation and live action, starred Michael Jordan and grossed more than $250 million dollars worldwide. Its sequel is a project that has been in development for years. However, it did not convince the most critical and demanding public.
