'bridgerton'-will-make-two-important-changes-in-the-intimate-scenes-in-the-second-season

The television adaptation of the romantic novels ‘Bridgerton’ was promoted as an erotically charged period drama and, from the sixth episode, it was very clear that it was going to meet the expectations of even the most obsessive fans of the books thanks to the dedication of Regé-Jean Page and Phoebe Dynevor.

The two actors have set the bar very high for Jonathan Bailey and Simone Ashley, who will be the new protagonists of the plot as the brother eldest of the family, Anthony, and the young spinster Kate Sharma who will become his biggest headache.

The creator of the series, Chris Van Dusen, has promised that the sequel will return to give viewers moments as unforgettable as those starring the Duke of Hastings and Daphne against the stairs of a bookstore or in the garden of his mansion, although on this occasion the sex scenes have been approached focusing more on the perspective of the women.

“The female gaze is very important because there are many ways of people communicating through sex, and what sex means, and what your body means to another person”, Jonathan assured in an interview with the magazine. “It is important that there is a reversal of sexuality and how people are exploited in the narrative about sex.”

Her co-star Simone, who has also appeared in ‘Sex Education’ , has pointed out what the other big difference will be: her character is not as innocent as Daphne’s and she is very clear about what she wants. “Deep down, there has always been a certain affinity with what Kate wants”, she has pointed out in a mysterious way and without giving more details to avoid spoilers.
