border-patrol-agents-find-another-5-year-old-girl-wandering-alone-near-rio-grande-border

A five-year-old Guatemalan girl, whose name was kept anonymous because she was an infant, was placed under guard by United States Border Patrol agents after seeing her wandering along the border wall of Río Grande.

According to the authorities, the girl revealed that she had crossed the Río Grande alone and after talking with the minor for a few minutes it was learned that she was originally from Guatemala.

The Rio Grande Border Patrol said they were concerned about the discovery of another girl walking in such a dangerous place without the presence of an adult; this after this week they found a girl from Honduras, also five years old, walking in the same place.

According to the authorities, the minor from Honduras was not alone, but accompanied by other minors, however, they were not accompanied by an adult.

“Another five-year-old girl was found, which makes her the second in two days. This time a five-year-old Honduran girl was found with three other children, the oldest being 16 years old,” the United States Border Patrol Sector Del Río said on its official Facebook page.

This is not the first time that a minor has been rescued by the Border Patrol for wandering alone on a US floor, but the issue is becoming more worrying every day because in less than a week Two five-year-old girls and other minors have been found trying to enter the United States illegally and without the accompaniment of an adult.
