A four-year-old Venezuelan girl died after falling from the seventh floor of a building in Santiago de Chile, according to local media reports.
According to information compiled by the newspaper El Tiempo, at the time of the unfortunate event, the neighbors tried to help the little girl and she was immediately transferred to the San José Hospital in the Metropolitan region of Santiago de Chile, where she lost her life.
It was learned that the girl was in the care of an uncle.
While the investigations of the case continue, the neighbors affirmed that the windows of the apartment where the little girl lived with her parents -who did not know they were at that time-, they did not have a protective mesh.
While the relative who was guarding her is declaring as “part of the investigation”.
