A few days ago, some distressing images were spread on social networks where a policeman from Colorado, United States saved a dog that was trapped in a burning car, users have applauded the brave action of the official.

The officer managed to get the animal out alive, before it was caught by the flames.

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office released the images captured from the security camera of officer Michael Gregorek where it is seen how he broke the windows of the car that was filled with smoke.

Getting the dog out of the car, he took it to the ground full of snow so that the distraught pet named Hank, cooled down and was then taken to a safe place.

“I’m a dog dad. My only son is my dog, so he would have done the same thing, whether he was a human, a dog, or a cat. A life is a life, and in a situation like this you treat it as such”, commented the policeman.
