This Friday Enrique Albis was arrested. His name jumped into the world of news for being one of the producers of the Univision program El Gordo y la Flaca, hosted by Lili Estefan and Raúl de Molina. Enrique was accused of sexual harassment. It was the Miami Herald that released information about the producer’s sexual conduct. And then several women reacted by providing his testimonies. Where they detailed how he invited them to carry out private “auditions”. In these, they say, Albis groped them and sometimes, they say, he masturbated in front of them.
The news of his arrest has not been ignored by the followers of the program. On Instagram they are demanding that Raúl de Molina and Lili Estefan address the issue, that they break the news of his arrest. That they do not ignore the facts.
The words of the public are harsh, some even accuse them or point out recrimination that they continue to air, after these events starring their former producer. “Give the rapist news,” wrote one follower, who even accused them by saying: “Stop covering him.” The fans became demanding with this topic: “Talk about the rapist”.
During the course of the investigation, it is known that at least twelve women came forward to report it. According to El Nuevo Herald, the Miami-Dade County State Attorney’s Office handed over the investigation of the case to its Human Trafficking Special Team. Here they interviewed nine of the twelve women who presented their testimonies. Said media tells that the allegations date back to the years 2006.

But El Gordo y la Flaca did announce the arrest
Lili Estefan and Raúl de Molina broke the news of the arrest of Enrique Albis and during the program they reiterated that TelevisaUnivision is committed to a safe work culture, which is why they have zero tolerance for any sexually harassing conduct.
Raúl de Molina, continuing the words of Lili Estefan, stated that once the accusations arose, the network carried out an investigation, resulting in the dismissal of its former producer in the year 2019.
