super-bowl-lvi:-the-difference-in-ages-marks-the-expected-duel-between-rams-and-bengals

This Sunday’s Super Bowl LVI between Los Angeles and Cincinnati will face two squads that contrast by the veteran of the star players of the Rams and the youth of the protagonists of the Bengals.

The age difference is marked from the quarterbacks.

The Rams quarterback, Matthew Stafford, from 33 years, third best in yards in the season, is a leader in the offense with 12 years of experience in the NFL, 10 with the Detroit Lions and two with Los Angeles, who will be looking to win their first Super Bowl.

His rival in the Bengals, Joe Burrow of 25 years old, just beginning his college career at Ohio State in 2015 when Stafford was playing his fifth season with Detroit and already had experience in a couple of playoff appearances.

Even though Burr ow is in his second season with Cincinnati and is considered the next big thing in the NFL.

A national champion with the University of Louisiana and a Heisman Trophy winner in college, Burrow has already led his team to the North Division title, the American Conference championship, he received the NFL Comeback Player award from 2021 and now he will play the Super Bowl.

The receiver duel is no less interesting. The Rams have Cooper Kupp, 28 years old, winner of the triple crown for most catches, 145, most yards 1.947 and most touchdowns, 16, in addition to the fact that he has just been recognized as the Offensive Player of the Year.

The counterweight in the Bengals is called Ja’Marr Chase, from 21 years, youngest on team, designated Offensive Rookie of the Season; was the fourth best receiver of the season with 1.205 yards and 13 scoring.

The Rams also have more experience than Cincinnati in the running game, albeit by only one year difference.

Austin Ekeler, of 26 years old, obtained 911 yards in the year and achieved 12 touchdowns , was surpassed by Joe Mixon, of 26 years, the third best in the NFL with 1 .205 yards and 13 scoring with the Bengals.

The Los Angeles defense has the experience of lineman Aaron Donald, from 30 years, a danger to opposing quarterbacks; he had 12.5 sacks on the season and caused four fumbles loose. This will be his second Super Bowl.

Despite having less experience than Donald, Cincinnati defensive end Trey Hendrickson from 27 years, was better in catches, added 14, and caused three fumbles.

The age contrast extends to the kickers.

Matt Gay, born in 1994 , with experience in the Buccaneers, Colts and now the Rams boasts an ERA of 94.1 percent, the second best in the NFL .

For the Bengals is rookie Evan McPherson, from 22 years old, the second youngest player on the team, who arrives at the Super Bowl with the confidence of having converted his 12 field goal attempts made in the playoffs.

Age gap closes on coaches, Sean McVay from 33 Rams years, is younger than newly named Coach of the Year Zac Taylor of 36 years.

They are the men to watch, experience against youth in Super Bowl LVI to be played this Sunday between the Los Angeles Rams and the Cincinnati Bengals at SoFi Stadium, in Inglewood, California.
