The Stilton Cheesemakers Association offered samples with Eau de Stilton in 2006 with plans for mass production if it sold in a big way. It didn’t.

In the past, Pizza Hut has also launched a cologne and Burger King its The Flame perfume. Fast food chains use fragrances as a marketing technique.

In the world of perfumes, a wide variety of food-scented products have been launched, such as tamales, barbeque, sweet corn, bacon and sushi, such as Demeter Sushi Cologne.
