After the Club World Cup final was held in which Chelsea defeated Palmeiras 2-1 in Abu Dhabi, it became known that a fan of the South American team was murdered near the Allianz Parque stadium in São Paulo .
The event occurred on Palestra Italia street, during a fight between some Palmeiras fans who had come to the stadium to watch the final. So far the reasons why this fight started are unknown.
To calm the situation in which several people were arrested, the local police had to resort to firing stun bombs and rubber bullets.
The moment of the shot and the reaction of the authorities and bystanders in the place, they were captured in videos that were later published on social networks. In them you can also see how several of the fans were confused at the beginning of the shooting.
Thanks to the first information provided by the police, it was learned that the victim, aged 42, was shot in the thoracic region, which it did not take his life immediately but it did leave him in serious condition, however, he died in the health center to which he was transferred.
For their part, the authorities managed to capture in flagrante delicto the suspect of having fired the shots. He was taken to the police station along with another subject who tried to run over several policemen who were traveling on motorcycles.
In turn, another fan who suffered a broken leg during the altercation was taken to a health center where he was treated immediately and is recovering, according to the authorities.
