Inside and outside of NYC, armed violence continues unleashed in 2022, especially with young attackers and victimizers.

In North Babylon, Long Island, in an apparent drug conflict, a teenage driver was shot eight times from another car and then crashed on a highway Wednesday night. Miraculously he survived, but remains hospitalized in serious condition.

According to the police, the unidentified young man from 17 was driving a Honda CRV 2007 eastbound in the center lane of Sunrise Highway when he was shot in the head, chest and neck, from the passenger side of another car that later fled with its lights off, at approximately pm

When you were injured, your Honda hit the tail of another vehicle before crashing into the center median and coming to a stop. The same badly injured driver was able to call 550 to report the incident. He was transported to a hospital in critical condition. There were no other injuries

The police believe that drugs caused this act of violence. Sunrise Highway was closed between exits 39 and 40 in North Babylon during the investigation of the shooting and subsequent traffic accident, 46 miles east of Manhattan , reported News 12. Since then there have been no more police updates on the case.

The following day, Thursday, in NYC there were at least nine shootings, with two men dead and several injured.
