Months ago, the complaint was filed by the mother of the minor 11 years, who stated that Encarnación, aged 45, would have committed the crime in May, the month in which the complaint was made. Juan Encarnación would have entered the minor’s room while she was sleeping, touching parts of her body.

The Fifth Investigating Court of the National District in the Dominican Republic decided to let Encarnación go free, and also to file his case. The accusing party did not present the evidence or the necessary certifications to justify the accusation.

“I want to thank God, my family and everyone who supported me in this very complicated process that I went through. I do not wish it to anyone. I always had the faith that justice would leave me sooner or later, “said Juan Encarnación after his release.
