New York, Connecticut, New Jersey, Maryland and the New England region will see snow this Super Bowl Sunday, which will continue all day, in addition to possible rain.

Expected an accumulation between two and three inches, reports the New York office of the Weather Service.

“Winter weather advisories are in effect for the entire region this morning with light to moderate snow continuing through the late”, is limited.

The authorities ask citizens to avoid interstate travel or keep their distance from other cars, due to slippery conditions.

It is also asked to keep a distance from trucks that dump salt the roads, in order to prevent them from turning to ice quickly.

“Ice and snow. Take it easy,” says the state Highway Authority.
