In recent days, heavy rains were recorded in some locations in Colombia, with Pereira being one of the most affected since the water caused some landslides, which caused the destruction of several homes in this area as well as the death of at least 14 people.

Eduardo Moncada is one of the victims of this terrible event. The man would have left his house with the strong storm to wait for the bus that would take him to his job as a janitor for the Secretary of Education of Pereira, at the La Esperanza school and unfortunately, he could no longer reach his destination.

Eduardo was the owner of Broli, a dog that remained 2 days without eating and without sleeping and that did not leave the man’s coffin for a single second.

The puppy has touched relatives and strangers, as they say, his face reflects an evident sadness for the loss.

“Even today, when we were trying to organize things, we had to lock him up somewhere else and he wouldn’t stop howling in despair, as if he wanted to be here,” a relative of the victim told Noticias Caracol.

To date, Broli is still waiting for his owner to return.
