Los Angeles adopted a new nickname and it is “The City of Champions” all this after the Rams won the title in the NFL. That is why NBA star LeBron James called on the Los Angeles Dodgers (MLB), Los Angeles Lakers (NBA) and Los Angeles Rams (NFL) to hold a parade throughout the city to celebrate the trio of championships.
“We Dodgers and Rams should have a parade. With a live concert afterwards to finish it!”, were the words of LeBron James.
It should be noted that two of the three organizations won their respective championships last year 2020 and the same ones to break big hexes. In the case of the Dodgers, they beat the Tampa Bay Rays to break a streak of more than 14 years without a title World Series; while the Lakers beat the Miami Heat to leave behind a decade without rings.
The call of “The King” of Akron was quickly answered by one of the pillars of the Los Angeles Dodgers project, as is the case of Mookie Betts and who once accepted the idea of celebrating his second championship ring once again.
Now, the next step will be to wait for the pronouncement of the current American football champions, who will be holding his own celebration and parade to show his fans the second Vince Lombardi trophy in its history.
What is clear is that the city of Los Angeles has become the new king of the most important sports in the United States.
