Everyone needs an ex like Marc Anthony, who is always ready to defend him. The singer separated from Jennifer López, the mother of his twins Max and Emme, in 2014, but this Sunday he wanted to give her a Valentine’s Day gift in advance, denying some uncomfortable rumors about the love life of his former wife.

The Bronx diva canceled her engagement to former baseball player Alex Rodriguez in March of last year, and shortly after it came to light that she had resumed their relationship romantic with her former fiancé Ben Affleck. The speed with which she turned the page gave rise to all kinds of rumours; the last ones pointed out that the retired athlete would be convinced that she will begin to miss him very soon and will realize that he made a mistake.

OK! echoed this theory on his Instagram account, but Marc was quick to intervene to clarify that no credibility should be given to this information, leaving several emoticons of faces crying with laughter in the comments section.

Incidentally, he has also indirectly helped Ben by implying that Jennifer is not he regrets having given his love story a second chance.

It should be remembered that the interpreter of ‘Valió la pena’ also maintained a very close relationship with ARod for the sake of their children, for which could have information from both parties about what happened during the breakup. Marc and Alex often went together to events related to the twins and the singer was the first to defend him when someone leaked a photograph of the athlete in the privacy of his bathroom, pointing out that he was still a very elegant man even sitting on the toilet.
