According to information from the magazine Tv y Novelas, the family of the disappeared “King of Jaripeo” looked for the interpreter of “Por Mujeres Como Tú” so that will be part of the tribute album that is being prepared; however, he rejected the invitation saying that, together with his children, he had already contemplated another project in their honor.
Given the response, the Figueroas made the decision to resort to legal instances to issue a document that prohibits the Aguilars from interpreting songs by Joan without prior consent, pointing out that, far from being a punishment, it is a measure that has the objective of correctly preserving their great artistic legacy.
