Cannibalism, which for many is a taboo, is within the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG) a wild and quite common competition to climb the organization chart of the drug trafficking group.
A report this week from the Daily Beast takes up the discussion about this macabre practice that the drug cartel led by Nemesio Oseguera Cervantes, alias “El Mencho”, has taken to another level.

The recruiters of these secret spaces located in rural areas force the potential thugs to eat human flesh during the three and four months that the intensive internship lasts.

If they pass that first test, then they teach them how to dismember the whole body in order to be able to transport the corpses more easily and disappear them.
At a more advanced level, recruits are forced to eat large pieces of human flesh, as well as vital organs.

Applicants are required to eat one of those pieces in front of the boss.
“You have to do it without reacting and without vomiting or you will be beaten”, revealed the source.
Refusing to eat human flesh is not an option either.
“If you don’t want to eat (human flesh) They won’t let you go they have you there”, he remarked.
About this, Mike Vigil, head of international operations of the United States Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), said that breaking the rules, in many cases has fatal consequences against recruits.
