Paramedics tried to save the life of Olga Fernández, aged 62, but she succumbed to injuries caused by being dragged by a driver with whom she was fighting for a parking space in Hialeah, Florida.
A video captured the moment when paramedics tried to save the mother of two children. She was arguing over a parking space for her daughter
Although the events occurred on February 13, the images were revealed this week for WESH.
In the video Fernández is seen lying on the pavement , while the paramedics give her first aid and place her on a stretcher, to take her to an ambulance, but she died shortly after.
The authorities are looking for the driver of a black car, who is believed to be it’s a Toyota Corolla.
The problem started when Fernandez’s daughter, aged 24, came home, but found the parking spot occupied. The mother argued with the motorist to leave the assigned space.
A friend of Fernández recounted that she heard her neighbor yell at her, after knowing that she had left to confront the motorist, who hit and dragged his victim, and then fled.
The Hialeah Police is investigating the events that occurred near First Avenue and Fourth Street.
Apparently the authorities have another video of the incident, but the images do not have been revealed.
