The teacher who pleaded guilty in Louisiana to giving “cupcakes” with her husband’s sperm to students was sentenced to 41 years in prison.

Cynthia Perkins, aged 36, was sentenced Friday to that time in prison after pleading guilty to second-degree rape, production of child pornography and conspiracy to mix harmful substances, local media reported.

Under the agreement reached, there is no possibility that the convict will be released on parole.

Perkins was facing 72 charges for multiple sex crimes. But, with the guilty plea, 68 of these were thrown out. As part of the agreement with the District Attorney, the woman agreed to testify against her husband, Dennis Perkins, a former Police lieutenant who faces 72 criminal charges.

The couple was arrested at 2019, after allegedly sexually abusing a young man together. A tip to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children led authorities to prosecute the couple. Investigators found a photo of the adults with the minor that is part of the evidence in Court.

The woman, who filed for divorce from the man after the arrests, has alleged that Dennis manipulated her to lead her to commit the crimes.

A lawsuit filed against the ex-partner and the Livingston Town School System alleges that Cynthia recorded her husband while he put semen in the “cupcakes” that he later supplied to Westside Junior High School students.
