man-survives-double-parachute-failure

For those who are lovers of adrenaline, many people have as a great goal in life to be able to skydive. Without a doubt, watch videos of parachute jumps They are always surprising due to what this fact means but also because of the amazing view that can be had.

But if you plan to skydive soon, perhaps when you see what happened to an expert skydiver you will think twice about doing it.

A man named Boo Dacious, who according to the Daily Mail has more than 1,100 parachute jumps, made a jump in Florida in November last year, which was captured on a camera of 325° that he wore on his helmet.

Dacious got the fright of his life because his parachute had a double failure, that is, neither the original device nor the emergency device was activated. This was caught on video, which went viral. Fortunately, he came out of that incident safe and sound.

“Mistakes are common in skydiving; however, dual parachute malfunctions are feared, and experiencing one and surviving is rare,” said Dacious.

“Surviving unscathed without a scratch is unheard of, and that’s what happened to me here. I am honored and grateful to everyone who had to witness what many felt was a completely terrible situation that anyone could get out of… I am walking proof that I never give up!” he said.

“Death never crossed my mind. Processing each moment into the next required full concentration. I couldn’t even think about loved ones”, the skydiver said.

The video ends with him landing, where he remains motionless, breathing heavily. Boo explained, “I touched the ground on my knees as if I was praying. There was a tree nearby, and it may have helped disperse the energy, but I literally hit the ground first with my feet and then with my knees”.

What happened was that parts of the main parachute had come off. He made a knot and made the decision to cut whatever was dragging behind him, before deploying the reserve parachute, but the problem is that it got caught in the main parachute, which he had only partially cut.
