wanted-hispanic-who-allegedly-stole-$1-million-in-covid-tests-in-california

The Hispanic Carlitos Peralta, 33 years old, is being pointed out by the authorities of Los Angeles, California, as the person responsible for the loss of 1 million dollars in Covid tests.

According to the authorities, the Hispanic worked as a manager of one of the seven covid product stores located in southern California.

The owner of the place , whose name is unknown due to a security issue, indicated that Peralta not only had access to the warehouse where there were covid tests, but that he was in charge of ensuring that the products arrived in a timely manner at different schools and hotels, but between those shipments there were some that were never registered.

The Santa Ana police reported that Carlitos Peralta diverted about 100 shipments, separately, from the seven warehouses to his home , which is why on February 9 the police paid him a visit to arrest him, for the robberies committed, but the former employee was not there.

Changes of route of the covid tests, according to a police spokeswoman, María López, they could have started in December 2021.

María López pointed out that Carlitos Peralta wrote down the name of a co-worker as the sender of one of the shipments that went to his house, thus provoking an investigation against him.

“That employee received a notification and I said ‘What?’ and that’s how the investigation began, “said López.

So far it is unknown if any of the covid evidence has been rescued or if Carlitos Peralta escaped with everything and mutiny, for now the image of the suspect is already circulating throughout California.

The police department has asked the general public to contact them if they have information that leads to the Hispanic man, although there was no talk of a reward economic.
