Alex Fernández, son of the renowned singer Alejandro Fernández and grandson of Vicente Fernández, recounted some details of how he has communicated with the ‘Charro de Huentitán’, two months after his death.
The singer, of 28 years old, narrated the day he felt the presence of his grandfather at the moment when he was being watched by his whole family, this after asking him for a sign to stay with him for a moment.
It was on the program ‘Venga la alegría’ where the son of ‘El foal’ spoke about the surprising moment in which he had some kind of connection with his grandfather, who lost his life on 12 December 2021 after being hospitalized for more than four months due to a fall he suffered at his ‘Los Tres Potrillos’ ranch.
“Something weird happened to me when the whole family was gathered in his coffin and they gave us the wafer and I began to pray and I began to tell my grandfather to be with me, that he could enjoy this adventure with me as long as he wanted, I told him ‘give me a sign if you are listening to me, if you agree agree’”, he commented.
“People are going to think I’m crazy, but I got a cramp in my finger and it felt like this (it bent), and it’s the finger with the what do you say yes, I mean, I don’t know, I got goosebumps and I got scared and said ‘well, but it was a yes’”, explained Alex Fernández.
The interpreter of ‘El tiempo he does not forgive’ he also acknowledged that he has had a very bad time since the departure of one of the most important people in his life.
Recently, Doña Cuquita, the widow of Vicente Fernández, also spoke about the demonstrations she has received from her husband: “Unbelievable, but a cross is formed on my bed, really. With the quilt a cross is formed, daily. I tell him: ‘Don’t worry, no one is going to take your place,’ ” she said during the unveiling of a statue of the legendary performer on his birthday.
