Tite, the coach who returned the ‘beautiful game’ and cash to the Brazilian soccer team, announced this Saturday that he plans to leave the Rio de Janeiro bench once the upcoming World Cup in Qatar is over 2022 to be held in the months of November and December.
Tite’s statements were given to the “Redaçao SporTV” program, where he spoke about the panorama of the Brazilian team in this world year.
Despite surprising locals and strangers with the declaration of his future departure, Tite made it clear that he only has one goal before leaving the national team: the World Cup.
“I won everything in my career, I just need the Cup of the World“, declared the coach who is in charge of the team since 2016.
Likewise, he confirmed that among the friendlies that Brazil will have to prepare its route to Qatar 2022 there will be no European teams, although it is still up in the air a match against England.
“We would like to, but there is no possibility”, he commented, referring to the fact that it will be “counterproductive” to make trips to Europe, taking into account that they still have two pre-world matches pending and a rescheduled match against Argentina.
Under Tite’s tutelage, Brazil won an international title again after winning the Confederations Cup in 2013 by winning the Copa América 2019, where they beat Peru 3-1.
