A user on the social network Twitter denounced that a preparatory school in the Mexican city of Sinaloa made its students sign a letter disassociating themselves from any lawsuit in the event that any of the minors is a victim of sexual abuse, with the excuse of having a short skirt.
The woman explained that the “Augusto César Sandino” high school, of the Autonomous University of Sinaloa (UAS), made them sign a letter in which indicated that if they are victims of rape or some other aggression, it would be their fault and the institution disclaims in this regard.
The complainant shared on Twitter that the students would have had the length of their skirts measured, in addition to checking if they were wearing shorts.
“If I was a few centimeters shorter, the director called them prujas”, stated the woman.
“Those who were sent to tutoring were made to sign a responsive letter stating that if they were raped or killed outside the school it was no longer fault of the school,” she says in one of the comments to the thread on Twitter.
Different organizations have denounced the institution, according to a review El Heraldo de México, so they will meet with the authorities to formalize it.
