nato-assures-that-putting-russian-nuclear-forces-on-alert-is-part-of-putin's-“dangerous-rhetoric”

The North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) rejected what it classifies as “dangerous rhetoric” by Russia, after President Vadímir Putin announced the alerting of his nuclear deterrent forces in Ukraine.

The Secretary General of NATO, Jens Stoltenberg, acknowledged in statements to the American chain CNN, his concern about the increase in tensions with Russia.

“It is dangerous rhetoric. It is irresponsible behavior”, declared Stoltenberg.

“Yes You combine this rhetoric with what they are doing on the ground in Ukraine, waging war against an independent sovereign nation, carrying out a full-fledged invasion of Ukraine, this adds gravity to the situation.” he added.
