In the midst of the prominence that the president of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, has acquired as a result of the Russian invasion in that country, videos of his time as a dancer and in the entertainment industry came to light in recent days.
The images of the president in the Ukrainian version of “Dancing with the Stars” prove that he not only takes strategic steps on the battlefront after the Russian invasion of Ukraine; but also on the dance floor.
In clips dating back to 2006, Zelensky is seen with his partner Olena Shoptenko dancing from Rock and Roll to tango.
One of the interpretations that attracts the most attention is one in which both appear blindfolded while they mentally count their steps.
The skill of today’s main Ukrainian government official has become a sensation on networks just days after the British actor Hugh Bonneville revealed that the president of Ukraine, since 2019, was the voice of the “Paddington” bear in the Ukrainian version of the franchise.
In the opinion of specialists on the subject, in recent days, Zelensky has managed to transform the West more in terms of policy towards Russia than in 30 years of clashes and summits since the end of the Gu cold land.
With the commitment of countries like the United States to supply arms and ammunition, Zelensky, of 44, the West seems increasingly inclined to a proxy war with Moscow over Ukraine, even though the latter country is not part of NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization).
Zelensky calls for Ukraine to be admitted to the European Union
This Tuesday, Zelensky requested in an emotional message to Parliament that Ukraine be admitted to the European Union.
The Ukrainian president addressed the parliamentarians in Brussels, Belgium, through a video call from Kiev, which is currently facing a Russian convoy stretching for 40 miles in an attempt to seize the demarcation.
Zelensky urged the European Union to recognize Ukraine as one of its members, a move that is expected to anger the pre Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The president stated that this is the time for this body to show that it considers the Ukrainians equal and that it is on the side of that country and not Russia. .
“I can no longer say hello or good night because every day is the last day,” declared Zelensky. “Lives are being sacrificed for values, for rights, for freedom, to have the same equality that you enjoy. We are going to win, I know it. I want to hear you say that Ukraine’s choice to be part of Europe is also its choice. We want to be members of the European Union. Without you, Ukraine will be alone”, he argued.
