ricky-martin-confesses-that-he-suffers-from-anxiety

Ricky Martin confesses that he suffers from anxiety… Yesterday we shared the first part of the interview that Quique Usales did with the singer for ‘Hoy Día’, where he confessed that he had trouble sleeping.

In this second part, he talked about his line of skin care products from the company Kumiko. And of that system that started working two years ago, in full lockdown due to the pandemic and which he shared with us in an interview: the system called orbital audio.

It was precisely by describing this system, where the sound not only is it heard, but it is felt and surrounds you that he told Usales the following:

“We have created a technology, already with a patent, where to speak in Creole and not be very technical, you will feel that the instruments, individually, fly in your mind. You listen to it in headphones, or depending on what kind of sound you have at home, or in the car, and the beauty of this is that we have done studies where, fortunately, many of us are going to benefit”.

It was after that explanation that Ricky confessed to Quique something that surprised us all:

“And I say many for those of us who suffer from anxiety or depression or even people who have been within the spectrum have given calm”.

In March of 2020, when we exclusively interviewed him for the output of Orbital audio, and he tests it with his song ‘En Pausa’. Ricky also spoke to us about anxiety, but framed in the confinement due to the pandemic, and the development of this system as a way to heal so much despair in the world.

“The only thing I have done all my life was being on stage, I was going crazy and I wasn’t the only one…. I spoke to my team and said: ‘I don’t know what is going on with this pandemic, what I do know is that we are going to find something that is going to help people heal, what is that? I don’t know, but remember that this is how it’s going to be done’… From the initial intention was to create something to be able to soften a little the anxiety that we are all experiencing”, Ricky told us at that time.

That which was born two years ago, as he himself told the presenter of ‘Hoy Día’, is already patented and ready for not only listen to music as if we were part of it, but also as a tool for many things, from video games, as support for issues as difficult as Alzheimer’s.

“Although we started with music, it’s all fun , all nice, how about we create an app, or work on a wellness app, that focuses on meditation… We’ve started talking to people who work in health and they said, ‘Ricky, I feel like there might be something here that can help people who have Alzheimer’s, who at some point had a stroke.’ There is a lot that is happening, the tentacles are of a power, they are of healing”, Martin told us two years ago in an interview.
