The body of a mother of two, who was reported missing in Texas in mid-February, was found buried under a house, authorities reported.
Marissa Grimes, of 26 years old, was last seen alive on 12 February; three days later, her relatives reported her missing.
The remains of the woman were recovered in the home of the suspect, identified as Valerian Osteen, of 24.
According to the NBC 5 report Citing the arrest warrant against the alleged perpetrator, Grimes’ body was discovered under his house on the block 5800 of Locke Avenue in West Fort Worth, La last week.
Police officers found the body in the crawl space of Osteen’s home.
Osteen currently remains in police custody as authorities investigate other possible victims.
Agents in Fort Worth had arrested Osteen on January 9 for a domestic violence incident in who was accused of assaulting, threatening and holding Grimes by force for several days.

Osteen was released from prison on January 12, after posting bail imposed on him.

An unidentified witness told investigators that he saw the two together on 13 February. According to the person, the woman seemed to be crying and that Osteen, who was armed, was verbally abusing her, and questioning that it was his fault that he was arrested.
The witness said that Osteen asked him to leave.
Later, another woman told police she was held against her will by Osteen at her home on 17 February.
The female told the uniformed officers that she detected blood in the house, but that Osteen claimed it was from a man he tortured for fun. The suspect also claimed to be a member of the Russian mafia and that he would engage in a shootout with police officers.
A U-Haul moving truck rented by Grimes was later found near the home of the alleged killer, the 21 February.
Members of the Fort Worth SWAT force executed a warrant for the arrest of Osteen’s home the next day and discovered dirt and a stench of decomposition in a mezzanine below the room.
This led to the discovery of the body wrapped in a sheet and plastic tarpaulin in a second search.
