biden-administration-to-send-more-free-home-covid-tests-to-homes-starting-next-week

The President of the United States Joe Biden reported this Tuesday that people can request new home test kits to detect COVID-19.

“Even if you ordered free tests tonight, I am announcing that you can order more through covidtests.gov starting next week,” the president said as part of his message of the State of the Union.

Since January 18, people could request the tests online at no cost some that have reached the recipients through the United States Postal Service (USPS).

The above is one of the initiatives of the Biden Administration to make screening tests more accessible to citizens amid criticism for shortages in pharmacies and other spaces.

In addition, Biden had ordered private insurers to cover eight t are you home from COVID-19 per month per person since 15 January.

The first round of submissions allowed an applicant to obtain four tests per residential address, regardless of how many people lived in the unit. And this will be the same amount that you can request in the second one.

At the time of the launch of the page, some people who live in apartments or condominium buildings with multiple units that share the same address reported having had problems ordering the tests.

In order to resolve the above, the Government enabled the special telephone line 1- 800-150-232 or 1-888-720-7489 (TTY). The service operates from 8 am to midnight and offers help in English, Spanish and other 150 languages.

When ordering evidence, the person will receive an email confirming the request. Subsequently, you will receive email notifications in which the status of the shipment will be updated, including delivery date and tracking number at USPS.com.
