The streaming service owned and operated by Fox News announced this March 1 that Kevin Costner has signed on to host, produce and narrate a documentary series on the history of Yellowstone National Park in commemoration of his 150 anniversary.

The documentary, entitled “Yellowstone One-Fifty”, will consist of four one-hour chapters that aim to recognize the history and wildlife found in this natural enclave located in the western United States, said Jason Klarman, president of FOX Nation, in a statement.

It is expected to be released in the last quarter of this year and the chapters will be will be broadcast consecutively the same week of the premiere.

“ ‘Yellowstone One-Fifty’ exemplifies the superior creative content that we strive to offer exclusively to our subscribers. We are delighted to be collaborating with an iconic actor and filmmaker of the caliber of Kevin Costner on this project,” added Jason.

It will not be the first time that the renowned actor and director has been involved in a project related to this national park, as he also stars in the Paramount Network drama series “Yellowstone.”

The modern western has become the most-watched show on cable television over the course of four seasons, with a fifth on the way.
