A 15-year-old teenager was seriously injured when she crashed a stolen car while traveling from Westchester County to the Bronx (NYC) with her friends.
The driver and her friends -two women and one man, all minors- stole a Nissan Sentra 2018 in Mount Vernon yesterday morning and was driven five miles south to the Bronx, according to police. The young woman who was driving crashed into a concrete divider and toll booth inside an Orchard Beach parking lot around : 45 am
Doctors took the four teens to Jacobi Medical Center , where the fifteen-year-old who was driving remains in critical condition. The other three teens were in stable condition.
Last night the Authorities charged the four teens with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and criminal possession of stolen property, reported Daily News.
