A true nightmare is being experienced by a Hispanic couple living in the United States who, after many attempts to have a child naturally, resorted to in vitro treatment and surrogacy outside the country a few months ago. in Ukraine.

The couple formed by Alex Spektor and Irma Nuñez became parents of twins last week, who were born prematurely (at 32 weeks of gestation) in a hospital in the capital of Kiev.

Unfortunately, the arrival of babies Lenny and Moishe occurred at the height of the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, so the Hispanic couple is desperate and asks for urgent help to be able to get their twins out of that country and bring them immediately to their home in Georgia.

The situation is complicated because, being premature babies, it is impossible for them to leave the hospital, so the parents they are on the bus remains of a hospital with a bomb shelter where their children can be cared for until they are transferred to US soil.

“The fact that they are premature does not help us. We have to get them out of there. The nightmare we are living through is unimaginable,” Spektor told NBC’s Today. The war that is going on in that country has made it practically impossible for them to get it.

“I spoke with a pharmacy in the morning. In the afternoon, when one of our contacts arrived there, it had been bombed and was closed”, added Spektor, who indicated that fortunately they were able to get it.

The father has requested help from the President of the United States, Joe Bien, and in case it is impossible to bring them with them at the moment, they request that their little ones be transferred to a neighboring country that is neutral ground.

At the moment, it is known that the babies are under the care of their surrogate mother, as well as a pediatrician in the Ukrainian capital.
