former-russian-president-issues-serious-warning:-“russia-has-the-power-to-put”-america-in-its-place

Former Russian President Dmitri Medvedev has sent a strong message to the United States after President Joe Biden called Russian President Vladimir Putin a war criminal.

Biden’s message was reproduced after the attacks against Ukrainians in Mariupol and other cities became known, where according to the Associated Press agency, dozens of children are buried in mass graves and local residents have run out of food and are unable to obtain food or medical assistance .

Medvedev confronted Biden’s message and warned that Moscow has the power to put the world’s most important superpower in its place, in addition to accusing the country of trying to bend Russia.

Medvedev, who now serves as deputy secretary of Russia’s National Security Council, delivered the Kremlin’s last words against the United States, accusing it of fueling “disgusting” anti-Russian sentiment.

“It will not work. Russia has the power to put all our brazen enemies in their place,” Medvedev was quoted as saying by the Reuters agency.

It should be remembered that since Russia invaded Ukraine last 24 February, the United States, as well as its European and Asian allies, have imposed a series of sanctions on Russian leaders, companies and businessmen.

In addition, several private companies also withdrew from the country in retaliation for the invasion of Ukraine.

The White House, for its part, believes that these sanctions are paralyzing the Russian economy and have collapsed the value of the ruble; Russia’s stock market has not opened since the invasion, a “financial” blow that is expected to stop the bombing of Ukraine.

For now, Dmitri Medvedev’s statements have not provoked the reaction of high-ranking US officials, but it is clear that they will soon do so…
